T2T Mentors Still Needed
Are you the person that everyone always asks for Tri advice? Do you have so many event T-shirts you’ve had them made into a quilt? Remember what it felt like to walk up to the transition area at your very first race? Did you even know it was called the “Transition Area”? Is introducing new people to the sport of triathlon something you’re thrilled to do? Then TTC has a job for you! As part of our “Time 2 Tri" program, TTC needs volunteers to serve as Mentors for the 15-20 participants in the program.
As a T2T Mentor, you will need to be available to attend group training swims, rides and runs along with program participants beginning August 1st and finishing at the Tinfoilman Tri on October 25th. A 12-week beginners training plan and clinics will be put together by Grasky Endurance and Dolphins of the Desert so you will not be responsible for coaching. The Mentor's main duty is to be the voice of experience, the hand to high-five, and a shoulder to cry on (hopefully not to much of that.)
