Blue Seventy Wetsuit Group Order
TriSports.com and Blue Seventy have teamed up to provide TTC a chance to buy Blue Seventy wetsuits at a greater discount than our club discount. The more wetsuits we buy the cheaper it will be for everyone! You will find the models and prices by clicking on the link below. Orders and payment must be received by April 17th. Wetsuits will arrive approximately four weeks from April 21st. For all transactions processed via PayPal there will be a 2.9% transaction fee applied to your total. For those that will be purchasing a wetsuit but had plans on renting a suit for a race before the order comes in, TriSports.com has agreed to provide you with a voucher for a free rental. Please let me know when you place your order that you will be renting a suit. Please email Brian Nath with the wetsuit, size, and qty. We will then bill you via PayPal or you can pay via check or cash prior to the 21st.

Arizona Club Championships - May 17th in Tempe
So far we have only received 14 names for the club roster. Last year we had over 30 members participate in this event. If you are signed up or plan on signing up please submit your name to us so we can include you on the club roster. If you do not submit your name to us your results will not count toward Tucson Triathlon Club. Email Brian Nath with your name and distance to be added to the roster.

In 2007 the club placed 7th and then in 2008 we moved up to 4th. We also won best looking club in 2008. What does 2009 hold for the Tucson Triathlon Club? Lets get out there and kick some Landis, Gage Total Training, Tri Scottsdale butt! Full Details

New Arizona Open Water Swim Series
Looking for opportunities to train in open water? Need a few practice swims before taking the Ironman plunge? We cordially invite you and your swimmers to take part in the Arizona Open Water Series 2009. Five separate events will be offered in Phoenix area lakes beginning May 2. All events are sanctioned by United States Masters Swimming (USMS) for adults 18 and up and by USA Swimming (USAS) for age group and elite swimmers.

Courses will include Half Ironman (2K or 1.2 miles) and Ironman (4K or 2.4 miles) distances, your choice. The venues will include Saguaro Lake, Lake Pleasant and Tempe Town Lake (just prior to Ford Ironman). Whether you're a first-time open water swimmer, or a seasoned champion, these events will give you a great chance to experience the thrill of competitive swimming without walls. Open Water Veteran Race Director, Mark Gill, will see to it that you and your athletes have a rip roaring time.

With a comfortable, leak resistant skirt and a contoured, stylized frame, the Vista has an extremely low profile that virtually eliminates the drag experienced with other swimming masks. The crystal clear wrap-around lens of the Vista also provides 180-degree visibility, important in open water swims.Available at TriSports.com
